Summary
Lumina W blog with technical content on web development, cybersecurity, and digital products, published at blog.luminaw.co.
The problem
Technical knowledge generated in real projects needs its own channel to reach the community without depending on external platforms.
What I built
- 01
Astro with static output: optimized build, per-article routes, and continuous deployment to Netlify.
- 02
Tailwind CSS for responsive design.
- 03
Content organized by categories: SaaS and product, security, web development.
- 04
No external CMS: articles in Markdown/MDX within the repository.
- 05
Technical SEO per article: title, meta-description, Open Graph, canonical, and schema markup.
- 06
Accessibility (a11y): heading hierarchy, aria-labels, and WCAG AA contrast.
- 07
Performance: static output, optimized load times, and immutable cache on Netlify.
- 08
Google Analytics (GA4): visit tracking and most-read articles.
Results
-
Blog in production with technical content on web development, cybersecurity, and digital products.
-
Technical SEO, WCAG AA accessibility, and GA4 analytics configured per article from launch.
Learnings
-
Publishing without an external CMS (articles in Markdown within the repository) maintains full editorial control and eliminates external dependencies, but requires establishing a file structure and metadata convention from the first article.
